Milestones...

May 2007 marked the 27th Anniversary of our company. Time really does fly! As we move forward, you will see a steady increase in the number of products sold under our MOMENTUM® brand, (rather than our original ST. MORITZ brand): this switch is due to trademark issues in new markets we are opening up, and to our desire to maximize efficiency, as we consolidate worldwide sales under a single brand. We would like to assure all our loyal St. Moritz customers that watches sold under the MOMENTUM® brand will continue to offer the same quality and style, backed by the service that have always been a hallmark of our Company.

While we perhaps do not advertise as heavily as some larger competitors, our growing reputation as an "insider's" watch brand, providing exceptional quality and value for money, is something of which we are very proud. We continue to add exciting new products to our line-up and expand our dealer network in North America, with a steady stream of important new dealers joining our team. Outside North America, we are pleased to welcome several new distributors and partners, who are helping establish distribution and local service in numerous, exciting new markets.

New directions...

  • Welcome strong new web-based dealers like Amazon.com and Zappos.com, based on easy to use websites and exemplary service.
  • New, expanded European Distribution Centre in Breda, Holland will offer faster deliveries and improved service to our expanding European customer base.
  • Partnership with Beaver Sports in the UK will significantly expand our presence in the UK dive market, with dramatically improved "at once" delivery from their UK warehouse and on-the-spot after sales service.
  • A new distribution agreement is in place, with the launch Momentum® in Venezuela already underway.
  • Steady improvements in our production planning and systems have resulted in a marked decrease in backorders with more product than ever available in our warehouses for immediate delivery.

As a market leader in specialty SCUBA watches, we know that almost nobody demands more from their watch than a diver. We continue to strive to deliver unmatched quality through our entire line. Our M50 DSS models, introduced 2 years ago, have proved to be a smash hit, setting new standards in reliability. After two years in the field and many thousands of pieces sold, our US Service Center finally received the first M50 watch ever requiring repair due to flooding / moisture damage. We are pretty confidant that this sets some kind of performance record for water-resistance and reliability.

New Products...

Over the next few months, look for several exciting additions to our line. The new FORMAT 3 CHRONOLOGIC will be released in October, replacing the discontinued Format 2, which is now sold out. The new model will feature a 45mm titanium case, much larger digital display, 3 time zones, auto-synch of local time when traveling, standard anti-glare treated sapphire crystal, Superluminova® dial and hands, 100M/330FT water-resistance, and much more... A very cool feature allows you to switch off the digital readout; the digital display disappears, then turn on the chronograph, day/date, alarm, etc., whenever you need them. 

The STELLA MARIS   is an elegant new ladies' dive watch featuring a beautiful new integrated steel bracelet with butterfly clasp, mother-of-pearl dial, scratchproof sapphire crystal and a real diamond as the index marker on the rotating bezel. With a new Swiss made quartz movement, an unusually slim, 200M waterproof-rated case two dial options, this new model is bound to become a classic. The launch is planned for the DEMA dive show in Orlando in November 2007. Look for it in stores immediately after the show, just in time for Christmas.

The SHADOW II is our much-anticipated replacement for the original SHADOW model, with a new case design, offset crown, and discretely updated look. It will hit the stores by October, together with the new Shadow III Chronograph in black ion-plated finish, and Cyclone Chronograph in all-steel.
